April 19
I take a picture of you every morning before school. I don't remember exactly what set you off here, but I think it might have been Daddy leaving for work. This might be the only upset photo I have of you before school so far.

We went to Alec's house for his playgroup birthday party.

This is pretty indicative of the month of April. She'd fight her nap and then fall asleep on the floor after an hour.

April 10th
First trouble putting you to sleep since you were a baby. 3 hours worth of work

April 11th
We were at dinner and you were coloring the menu. You said, "A....u....(Daddy and I looked at each other) t....u....(Daddy and I were amazed)...i....(and then something really quietly)." We were SO impressed!

April 13th
First skipped nap

"How 'bout more?" "How 'bout Tigger and Pooh?" "Hmmmm...how 'bout Autumn's chair?"

April 25
"Autumn's tummy makes me hungry!"

Lower left molar is peeking through, which I think is what caused the 2 month long sleep problem, since you calmed down once all four molars broke through.

Super Autumn/Super Phoebe

Gram made Autumn this cape so she could be Super Autumn! She loves it. Poor, poor Phoebe...

Bluebonnets

We took Autumn for pictures with the bluebonnets again. She was so much less cooperative than last year (just like the pumpkin pictures). This time I knew more of what to expect (because of the pumpkin patch) so I was a lot more okay with letting her just run and taking pictures of that.















Afterward we went to feed the ducks.

Easter Weekend - Retry

The Friday after Easter we had a playgroup at the park, and we also decided to do our Easter egg hunt after her nap.

I hid the eggs during her nap in places that I thought where out in the open but she still needed lots of pointing to find most of them. Here she is when she first saw the stuff on the couch.

Just Like Her Daddy

One afternoon after her nap, she went into "Daddy's Room" (the game room where our desks are and my crafts are) and discovered one of Richard's video game consoles. He put in Katamari Damacy and she actually was interested and moved the controls to move the little guy around the screen. The music is so much fun in the game, so that was a factor in her enjoyment.

Easter Weekend

Gram and Grandpa came down for the Easter weekend. On Friday we decorated eggs for the Easter Bunny. It was Autumn's first time and she seemed to enjoy it.



Here is her fake smile, but she really was having fun.





On Saturday we were doing a little prep work for the next day's meal and Mom had turned on a stove top burner. However, she turned on the wrong one and almost set this box of cake mix on fire. It was pretty smoky in the kitchen.



Saturday night I wasn't feeling well and ended up going to the emergency room, and then was admitted for the night. I didn't come home until after lunch, so my Mom was the host to G.G. and Grandpa who came over to spend Easter with the family. It was a really big bummer, but Autumn was happy to be surrounded by both sets of grandparents.
